Belmont School Christmas Welcome Pack appeal Pupils in years 7 and 8 at Belmont Community School, Durham were very busy before Christmas collecting items for Welcome Packs for DASH residents. The Welcome Packs are a selection of non-perishable foods, toiletries and cleaning products (approx. value £20) which are provided to all our new residents on their arrival. Pupils in 6 forms in each of years 7 and 8 at the school collected for the Welcome Packs before Christmas and the donations will be used to supply Welcome Packs to our residents for several months to come. We would like to thank the teachers and pupils in all the forms in years 7 and 8 who kindly contributed to the collections. We would particularly like to thank teachers Scott McMahon and Julie Ryder who coordinated the collections. Miss Bloomfield’s form in year 7 (see main image above) were the first to collect the contents of a Welcome Pack - in just two days – a fantastic achievement, well done boys and girls!
